As we drove to Steph + Jonny’s Cromlix Winter wedding, we found out that storm Arwen had only gone and knocked out alllll the power at the venue. Zero power. Zilch, not a sossaaaaaj. No irons for creased outfits, no heating, no kitchen for their wedding meal, we could go on, and on, and on (we won’t don’t worry)! We would have forgiven this beaut couple if they had freaked out, but instead, they decided to get married come hell or high water!
So what does a wedding in November with no power look like? Feckin’ magic, that’s what. A cosy wee candlelit ceremony in the Cromlix’s very own Chapel, cuddles in the garden, and sparklers after dark! Offfft YES PLEASE!
Shout out to Steph + Jonny for being brilliant, to their friends and family for the same… and a special mention for the staff at the Cromlix for bending over backwards and making S+J’s wedding epic, you know, despite the whole no power thing!
