Jen + Craig at Carberry Tower ❤️ We can FINAL Jen + Craig at Carberry Tower ❤️ We can FINALLY post 20 images so to celebrate, here’s some of our favourites from what was a really, REALLY great day. Sometimes couples will have an idea in their head of what they want their photography to go like (and that’s ok!) however Jen + Craig just wanted a good time with each other and their favourite folk, and for us to document it. Bliss. They had an excellent timeline too, nothing felt rushed so hats off to Carberry Tower 🫡 Gawds this was a lovely day. This photograph always makes us think of the album This photograph always makes us think of the album cover for The National - Sleep Well Beast. It's the building shape and the bold blue I think. What a band. We see them every time they tour if we can, and have so far seen them in Glasgow, Berlin, Lisbon (Berlin + Lisbon were in the same week, there's a story there :D), Amsterdam + Edinburgh. Liam has seen them a few more places than that too! Their music takes us right back to some pretty amazing moments of our relationship, I even have the lyrics to 'Dark Side of the Gym' on my arm. Who would you travel far and wide to see live? Technical chat: slowed the shutter speed right down and told the awesome Maddie + Summit to stay as still as they could. We really wanted their guests to be blurred/moving in the background. Then we hung about in the dark with the midges making sure we got the photograph we wanted. Thank you SO much pals, means the world! <3 "When you look up “extraordinary” on thesaurus.com it wouldn’t be a surprise if you found “Jo+Liam” as synonyms because that is what they are - extraordinary, amazing, exceptional, incredible… I could go on lol. For us, Jo and Liam were the highlight of our day. As soon as we booked our wedding back in 2022 I was DESPERATE to hire Jo and Liam as I had worked with them at my sister and brother in law’s wedding back in 2019 and I was obsessed with their vibe as well as their awesome pictures. From the minute these guys arrived on the morning of our wedding we instantly felt at ease. It was as if welcoming back an old friend who was your biggest cheerleader. They both worked so seamlessly and you didn’t even know they were busy snapping away, but were always there to make sure you were ok and give you words of affirmation multiple times throughout the day lol One of our favourite parts of our wedding day was going a wander together around the Merchant City after dinner. Saw this image on Lauren's stories recently and ha Saw this image on Lauren's stories recently and had a moment of "Did we take that, I really like that, why haven't we shared that?" so here it is. Weirdly had to confirm with Lauren that it was one of ours (I know, I KNOW, no idea who I thought might have taken it tbh) however did not ask Emma as to this day (almost a year later) she is convinced that we are sneakily adding in extra photographs to their gallery and not mentioning it. She swears she is seeing photographs she hasn't seen before.
