Time to celebrate! We are now Jo + Liam – formerly Jo Donaldson Photography :D Hang about for the why…
Woahhhh WOAH. So you got here, looking for Jo Donaldson Photography and instead you’re met with some sort of Prince-esque ‘Jo + Liam – the artists formerly known as Jo Donaldson Photography’ type-a magic? That’s because we changed our name, YALDI!
But why the name change we hear you ask (that’s right, we HEARD you). Well – Jo Donaldson Photography was great, and worked for many, many years…but in the last few years Liam has become 50% of everything that our business baby is, so really it’s a bit rude that he doesn’t get some sort of recognition, right?
We wanted a new name that wouldn’t date, or turn cheesy to the ears as the years rolled by; a name that shows how hard both of us work on our wee dream. Step in, Jo + Liam! Original? Yes. Inspired? SORT OF. Pure us down to a tea? YOU BET YER BOTTOM DOLLAR 😀I mean, it’s eh, our names haha! With the addition of the magpie icon we were sold – we had magpies in our previous logo and loved that our rebrand gods Walnut Wasp acknowledged the evolution of our business 🙂
We wanted a website that screamed who we are, and more importantly, who our awesome couples are: laidback mad-in-love folks who are looking for emotional, authentic and joyful wedding images. And blimey do we have it! You should go check it out right NOOO if you haven’t already :D We are beyond excited to work with all of our future couples, and we hope you dig our new branding and website as much as we do!
